A Home Built Into a Medieval Wall

October 11, 2016

This beautiful home in Sweden comes with a pretty unique history. Built in the 1600's, adjacent to a high wall meant to protect a village, this cute little cottage used to serve as the home of the town's executioner.

Since its fairly dark history, the home has been kept in good shape and now serves as a cheerful home. Located in in Visby, a town on the island of Gotland, the home is now available for sale. Its current bid is at $466,137 USD.

Despite its small size of 538 sq ft, the home actually has three upstairs bedrooms! There's also high ceilings with exposed beams to make the home appear more roomy and comfortable.
